Trip to Crimea on Lada Niva. Part 1 - On east from Yalta.

This summer I decided to go to Crimea on my SUV - Lada Niva. Before I was afraid that in such long trip I will have a lot of troubles with Niva, but I was wrong. It appears that even in such long trip Niva is very reliable SUV :)

At first we go to our friends "base camp" near Privetnoe village on east from Alushta.

That territory looks just like north Israel, Golan Heights. The same bare mountains with poor vegetation.

The only benefit of going here at first, was that using our SUVs we can drive through bad mountain road to the beach with almost nobody.

Further I went to east to see the old soviet factory for building torpedoes for military ships.

Typical east Crimean landscape :)
